Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Pace Physical Therapy & Wellness Center, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough evaluations of patients, including reviewing medical history and performing specific assessments to develop individualized treatment plans.
• Communicating evaluation results and proposed treatment strategies effectively to patients and their families, ensuring that they are actively involved in goal setting.
• Implementing evidence-based treatment protocols that reflect the latest advancements in physical therapy and adapt them to meet the unique needs of each patient.
• Consulting with interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient care and recognize when modifications to treatment plans are required due to changes in patients' conditions.
• Managing discharge planning and follow-up care to ensure that patients continue to progress after leaving our facility, including the completion of thorough documentation and progress notes.
• Utilizing effective time management skills to meet productivity expectations while maintaining punctuality for meetings and other professional engagements.
• Tracking departmental goals and following regulatory compliance for patient care and rehabilitation best practices.
• Pursuing professional development through continuing education opportunities in areas related to physical therapy and rehabilitation.
• Promoting a positive patient experience through exceptional customer service and flexibility in meeting diverse individual needs.
• Engaging with community initiatives to identify and remove barriers to care access.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clientele consists primarily of individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, post-operative rehabilitation, chronic pain management, and neurological conditions. As part of our team, you will engage with a diverse patient base, fostering relationships and understanding the unique challenges each patient faces on their road to recovery. Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Valid Physical Therapy license for practice in Virginia, or eligibility to obtain one.
• American Heart Association BLS certification for Healthcare Providers.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience

While prior experience in a clinical setting is not required, candidates who bring any relevant clinical training, internships, or volunteer experience will have a competitive advantage. Demonstrated experience in outpatient therapy environments or familiarity with rehabilitation technologies will be beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits
