Empire Physical Therapist is seeking a dedicated Outpatient Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team at our Rehabilitation Center located in Fredericksburg, Virginia. Work Environment

The Rehabilitation Center is located in the heart of Fredericksburg, VA, a community renowned for its rich history and vibrant culture. Our onsite work environment fosters teamwork and collaboration, allowing our physical therapists, support staff, and other healthcare professionals to work seamlessly together to ensure the best patient outcomes. The typical work schedule is from 9 AM to 5 PM, Monday to Friday, promoting a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized care plans to patients, focusing on their unique rehabilitative goals and physical therapy needs.
• Manage an appropriate caseload, ensuring comprehensive and personalized attention for each patient.
• Employ evidence-based treatment strategies and hands-on techniques to assist with recovery, with a primary focus on orthopedic outpatient care.
• Utilize cost-effective treatment methods to encourage movement and mobility, reducing the need for surgical interventions or strong medications.
• Assess and evaluate patient progress regularly, adjusting treatment protocols as necessary in response to their evolving needs.
• Develop and implement tailored fitness and wellness programs that enhance strength, flexibility, and overall health.
• Encourage and motivate patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, reinforcing their commitment to becoming active participants in their healing process.
• Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver coordinated care, improving patient outcomes through collaborative efforts.
• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of treatment sessions and patient progress to ensure continuity of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this position, you will primarily work with a diverse patient population, ranging from athletes recovering from injuries to older adults seeking to improve their mobility and prevent fall risks. Our clinic emphasizes a patient-centered approach, allowing you to build meaningful relationships with patients, understand their challenges, and provide custom solutions to help them meet their rehabilitation goals.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a related field, with a focus on clinical practice.
• Active and unencumbered Physical Therapist license in the state of Virginia.
• A proven track record of therapeutic expertise, particularly in manual therapy and exercise program design.
• Strong competency in using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems, including WebPT, for documentation and patient tracking.
• Exceptional communication skills, allowing for effective interaction with patients, families, and healthcare team members.

Preferred Experience

• At least two years of clinical experience in a physical therapy setting, with a strong emphasis on outpatient care.
• Experience developing and implementing successful treatment plans that incorporate contemporary therapeutic techniques.
• Familiarity with rehabilitation for sports injuries and post-operative care.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this role ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
