Work Environment

The Physical Therapist will work onsite at our outpatient office, providing a comfortable and supportive environment for both therapists and patients. Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and oversee comprehensive physical therapy treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs, focusing on improving function, capability, and quality of life.
• Utilize a variety of treatment modalities, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and the application of physical agents to relieve pain and restore movement.
• Conduct in-depth evaluations of patients to assess their physical ability and create effective rehabilitation strategies in accordance with physician prescriptions.
• Supervise and mentor Physical Therapy Assistants, ensuring adherence to the treatment plan and providing guidance for optimized patient care.
• Communicate effectively with multidisciplinary team members through case conferences and care planning meetings to ensure a seamless continuum of care.
• Maintain precise clinical documentation, including initial evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries, to ensure compliance and quality assurance.
• Educate patients and their families about treatment plans and rehabilitation strategies, fostering engagement and compliance through effective communication.
• Regularly evaluate patients' progress, adjusting treatment approaches as needed and offering recommendations to enhance recovery outcomes.
• Contribute positively to clinical reviews and care plan development, ensuring consistent and exceptional care delivery to all patients.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy (a Doctorate in Physical Therapy, or DPT, preferred).
• Active licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Virginia.
• Current CPR certification.
• A minimum of one year of clinical experience in physical therapy, ideally within an outpatient or home care setting.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation range for this position is between USD 100,000 and 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
