Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Trailbound Rehabilitation & Wellness Center, your responsibilities will encompass:

• Conducting thorough patient evaluations, including reviewing medical histories, performing comprehensive assessments, and determining precise treatment plans based on individual needs.
• Implementing tailored treatment protocols grounded in evidence-based practices, adjusting plans dynamically as required by patients' changing conditions.
• Maintaining meticulous documentation of patient progress and care plans, ensuring clarity, compliance, and communication within multidisciplinary teams.
• Providing ongoing patient education and support to encourage patient engagement in their recovery process.
• Collaborating with healthcare teams to facilitate integrated patient care, participating in case conferencing as necessary.
• Participating in facility meetings, contributing to discussions on best practices and operational improvements.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with orthopedic patients, including those recovering from surgeries, injuries, and various musculoskeletal conditions. Our patient population reflects a diverse cross-section of the community, allowing you to apply your expertise in a range of scenarios. You will be a vital source of support for patients as they navigate their rehabilitation journey towards improved mobility and independence.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy (Doctorate degree preferred)
• A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Virginia
• Current American Heart Association's Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers

Preferred Experience
