Work Environment

This position is based onsite in our orthopedic outpatient facility in Quantico, Virginia, offering a collaborative and supportive work environment. You will work closely with a small but dynamic team focused on patient-centered care, fostering an atmosphere of teamwork and shared goals. The typical work schedule is from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced professional and personal life.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments to identify patients' goals and specific needs, developing individualized care plans to address their rehabilitation objectives.
• Utilize a hands-on approach by treating 2-3 patients per hour, employing various orthopedic therapy techniques and exercises.
• Design and implement cost-effective treatment plans that focus on improving motion and mobility while also evaluating the need for alternative approaches to pain management.
• Create wellness-oriented programs targeting strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination to promote a healthy lifestyle among patients.
• Engage and motivate patients throughout the treatment process to encourage optimal functional outcomes and adherence to therapy.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care and continuity of treatment.
• Regularly evaluate treatment effectiveness, monitor patient progress, and adjust care plans as necessary.
• Thoroughly document patient care services to maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with state regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with individuals recovering from surgery, those experiencing chronic pain, and athletes seeking to enhance their performance. Qualifications

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
• Valid Virginia Physical Therapist License, free of any board or disciplinary actions.
• Proven expertise in orthopedic outpatient care, with strong manual therapy skills and the ability to develop effective exercise regimens.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT, for efficient patient documentation and record-keeping.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years of relevant experience is required, candidates with a background in sports medicine or a strong emphasis on rehabilitation methodologies will be favored. Prior experience in a private practice setting is a plus, as it reflects an understanding of patient dynamics and the flexibility to meet various client needs.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to USD 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
