As a critical member of our healthcare team, you will serve as a partner in the rehabilitation journey of our patients, helping them regain mobility and enhance their overall quality of life. This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 – 120,000 annually, accompanied by comprehensive benefits.

Work Environment

This role is performed onsite at our rehabilitation facility in Dumfries, Virginia, where you will work collaboratively with a team of two other physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant (PTA). The facility is designed to provide a welcoming atmosphere for patients while housing the latest therapeutic equipment and treatment modalities. Regular working hours are Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, offering a stable schedule to maintain a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients' conditions to establish their rehabilitation goals and needs.
• Develop comprehensive care plans incorporating a variety of treatment techniques tailored to each patient.
• Provide individualized treatment for 2-3 patients per hour, focusing on improving their mobility and reducing pain.
• Design fitness and wellness programs that foster patient engagement and aid recovery.
• Administer manual therapy techniques and therapeutic exercises to enhance treatment outcomes.
• Monitor and document patient progress consistently, using electronic medical record (EMR) software such as WebPT.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to promote integrated care.
• Educate patients on self-management strategies and lifestyle modifications to support their rehabilitation journey.
• Actively participate in team meetings to discuss patient care and improve service delivery.
• Continuously evaluate treatment efficacy, adjusting plans as necessary to optimize patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily serve patients dealing with orthopedic issues, including post-operative recovery, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Our patient demographic is diverse, ranging from young athletes to elderly individuals seeking relief from age-related physical challenges. Qualifications

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
• Current Virginia Physical Therapist License with no disciplinary actions.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy and therapeutic exercise techniques.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of experience in orthopedic outpatient physical therapy settings.
• Hands-on experience in developing and implementing treatment strategies that enhance mobility and functionality.
• A proven track record of collaborating effectively within multidisciplinary teams.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000, depending on experience.
