Work Environment

The work setting is an onsite rehabilitation facility equipped with the latest technology and resources to support effective patient interventions. Our clinic's spacious layout fosters a positive and motivating atmosphere where patients can thrive during their therapy sessions. The typical work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, which allows for a balanced work-life integration.

Key Responsibilities

• Recognize and effectively fulfill the goals and needs of each patient, ensuring individualized care.
• Maintain a manageable patient load of one patient per hour, allowing for focused and attentive therapeutic interactions.
• Administer orthopedic assessments and develop comprehensive care plans utilizing a variety of treatment techniques.
• Provide evidence-based interventions that emphasize cost-effective treatments to improve patients' motion and mobility.
• Encourage patients toward non-surgical alternatives and minimize reliance on medications where possible.
• Motivate patients through their rehabilitation journey, promoting optimal functioning and enhancing their overall quality of life.
• Document services provided and evaluate treatment effects while maintaining open communication with patients regarding their progress.
• Customize wellness programs to fit the specific requirements of each patient, promoting a healthy lifestyle through enhanced strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver holistic patient care, ensuring a coordinated approach to treatment.

Qualifications

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist in Virginia, with no recorded board actions or disciplinary issues.
• Excellent manual therapy skills, complemented by proficiency in designing effective exercise regimens.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record software, particularly WebPT, to manage patient documentation efficiently.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable, showcasing hands-on experience with a diverse patient population.
• Demonstrated ability to establish rapport with patients and inspire a proactive approach to rehabilitation.
• Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams within a healthcare environment.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this role is competitive, with an annual salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 110,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
