Work Environment

This physical therapist position is offered as full-time, onsite home care where you will visit patients at their residences—this enables a personalized approach to treatment. The role requires flexibility to adapt to each patient's home environment, providing you with an intimate understanding of their daily lives, which is crucial for effective rehabilitation. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients referred by physicians to identify their unique needs and craft tailored treatment plans.
• Implement a variety of evidence-based therapeutic techniques in-home settings to improve patients' mobility, strength, and overall function.
• Demonstrate exceptional customer service and communicate effectively to build rapport with patients and their families.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians and nursing staff, to coordinate patient care and maximize recovery outcomes.
• Educate patients and their caregivers on therapeutic exercises, rehabilitation techniques, and preventive health strategies, enhancing their engagement in the recovery process.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring compliance with legal and professional standards.
• Meet productivity goals and organizational objectives while consistently delivering exceptional care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Full-Time Licensed Physical Therapist in this role, you will work with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, neurological conditions, pediatric issues, and sports medicine cases. Your expertise will not only support their physical rehabilitation but also foster emotional resilience by providing emotional support and encouragement throughout their journey to recovery.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited APTA or CAPTE-approved program.
• A valid State License for Physical Therapy.
• Certification in Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to educate and build trust with patients and their families.
• Computer proficiency, particularly in electronic health records and office productivity software.
• A patient-centered approach, with a focus on establishing strong therapeutic relationships to help clients achieve their personal goals.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in home health care or a similar in-home physical therapy setting is preferred.
• Familiarity with various therapeutic interventions and modalities such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities relevant to outpatient care.
• A demonstrated passion for community involvement and building professional relationships within the healthcare ecosystem.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer an attractive salary range of USD 80,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and expertise.
