As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, you will work onsite within our home care facility, collaborating closely with fellow therapists, physicians, and healthcare staff. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations including medical history review, physical assessments, and functional testing to devise tailored treatment plans.
• Implement evidence-based treatment protocols based on patient evaluations, clinical guidelines, and the latest advancements in orthopedic care.
• Monitor and document patient progress regularly, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to discuss patient progress, share insights, and modify approaches to care as needed.
• Educate patients and their families on rehabilitation processes, self-care strategies, and preventative measures to enhance recovery.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of patient evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries in compliance with all regulatory standards.
• Engage actively in team meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of clinical practices within the department.
• Stay abreast of new developments in physical therapy and orthopedic care through ongoing training and professional development.

Patient Population / Client Focus

At Supremacy Body & Pain Center, our client base primarily consists of individuals recovering from musculoskeletal injuries, post-operative rehabilitation, and chronic pain conditions. As a Physical Therapist, you will work with diverse patient populations ranging from athletes to seniors, tailoring your approach to meet the unique needs and goals of each individual. Your expertise will greatly contribute to enhancing their mobility, function, and overall well-being.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy is required; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.
• Current licensure to practice Physical Therapy in the state of Florida.
• Certification in BLS for Healthcare Providers issued by the American Heart Association.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential for effective collaboration and patient interaction.

Preferred Experience

• At least two years of experience in a clinical setting specializing in orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems for efficient documentation and patient management.
• Experience in conducting specialized assessments and utilizing contemporary therapeutic modalities and techniques.

Compensation and Benefits
