Work Environment

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist at our outpatient clinic, you will work in a collaborative and supportive environment Monday through Friday, from 9 am to 5 pm. Key Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized therapy care by assessing patient needs, setting specific goals, and developing tailored treatment plans that emphasize non-surgical interventions and manual therapy techniques.
• Manage a reasonable caseload, ensuring you dedicate meaningful time to each patient, effectively monitoring progress and subtly adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
• Utilize evidence-based practices, integrating the latest research into treatment approaches to enhance mobility and functional outcomes for each patient.
• Engage with patients in hands-on therapy sessions, employing various modalities and tools to improve strength, flexibility, and coordination.
• Document clinical findings and treatment details accurately using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and excellent patient care.
• Actively participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care strategies and collaborate with other healthcare providers to optimize rehabilitation outcomes.
• Motivate and educate patients on their treatment regimens, helping them understand the importance of adherence to therapy and encouraging a healthy lifestyle beyond the clinic.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The patients you will serve come from diverse backgrounds and typically present with various orthopedic conditions, ranging from post-surgical rehabilitation to chronic pain management. Your expertise will be instrumental in guiding them through their recovery journeys and improving their overall physical function. The emphasis on personalized care takes place in a supportive, encouraging environment where each patient's unique story is respected.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program is required.
• Active Physical Therapy license in the state of Florida, free from sanctions or board actions.
• Demonstrated proficiency in multiple manual therapy modalities and a robust understanding of orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Exceptional skills in crafting effective exercise programs that support recovery objectives.
• Experience with electronic medical records systems, especially WebPT, is a plus.
• Staying current with evolving physical therapy techniques, ensuring best practices are employed in every patient interaction.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting is highly preferred, with a strong record of successful patient outcomes.
• Experience in personalized fitness and wellness program development.
• Professional development through courses, workshops, or certifications focused on orthopedic physical therapy.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this full-time position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
