Work Environment

This full-time position is set within an onsite rehabilitation facility dedicated to restorative care for our diverse patient population. Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive evaluations, including reviewing relevant patient history, conducting specific assessments, and documenting the results and recommendations in compliance with established protocols.
• Engage with patients and their families to explain evaluation findings and collaboratively set achievable treatment goals that align with individual needs.
• Demonstrate expertise in implementing customized treatment protocols based on patients' evaluations, making modifications when necessary due to changes in condition or progress.
• Regularly consult with fellow healthcare professionals to ensure a cohesive approach to care, addressing any changes in patients' conditions that may necessitate adjustments to the care plan or the need for additional referrals.
• Conduct discharge planning and follow-up care, meticulously documenting patient interactions and progress in a clear and timely manner, ensuring continuity of care.
• Manage time efficiently to meet productivity metrics, maintain an organized schedule, and participate in both community outreach and internal meetings.
• Contribute to the overall goals of the department, maintaining compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards.
• Actively pursue professional development opportunities, inspiring colleagues and serving as a clinical instructor for students assigned to the facility.
• Enhance patient experiences by demonstrating flexibility and a proactive approach to customer service.
• Engage in initiatives that remove barriers to care, using data to inform decisions and improve patient access.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist at our center, you will primarily work with patients recovering from various musculoskeletal issues, including post-operative rehabilitation, sports injuries, and chronic pain disorders. Your ability to develop individualized treatment plans and implement effective therapeutic interventions will be essential in facilitating their recovery journey and enhancing their quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• A valid Florida state license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• A clean professional record without any history of disciplinary actions against your license.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and a strong ability to design and implement exercise protocols tailored to patient needs.
• Familiarity with WebPT EMR Software or similar systems is highly advantageous.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an orthopedic setting is strongly preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of current rehabilitation practices, patient engagement strategies, and evidence-based treatment protocols will set you apart.
• Experience in mentoring or training less experienced staff or students is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
