Work Environment

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist at our rehabilitation facility, you will operate in a warm and welcoming environment focused on patient recovery. The position offers a structured work schedule from Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. We promote a culture of learning and flexibility within our team, encouraging collaboration among therapists and other healthcare providers to optimize patient care. Key Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate patients' orthopedic conditions, establishing individual treatment goals and objectives.
• Conduct one-on-one therapy sessions, maintaining a patient caseload of one individual per hour to ensure personalized attention.
• Develop comprehensive treatment plans incorporating various therapeutic modalities tailored to each patient's needs.
• Implement cost-effective therapeutic techniques aimed at enhancing range of motion, functional mobility, and overall physical health.
• Champion non-invasive treatment methodologies, focusing on minimizing reliance on pharmacological interventions and exploring non-surgical options.
• Design and deliver customized fitness and wellness programs that promote strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Utilize evidence-based practices and established interventions to guide therapeutic efforts and document patient progress systematically.
• Encourage patients throughout their rehabilitation, providing motivation and support to foster a positive treatment experience.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians and other healthcare professionals, to create comprehensive care strategies.
• Regularly monitor and evaluate treatment outcomes to adapt strategies as needed and effectively address patient needs.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all patient interactions and treatments provided, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary focus of your practice will be patients recovering from various orthopedic conditions, including post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injuries, and chronic pain management. You will work closely with individuals at different life stages and activity levels, requiring a compassionate approach tailored to each patient's circumstances. Your expertise will empower clients to overcome physical limitations while fostering education about preventive care and healthy lifestyle choices.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (MPT or DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Valid Florida state license to practice as a Physical Therapist, with a clean record free of board or disciplinary actions.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and the ability to design and implement effective exercise regimens.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) software, preferably WebPT, to ensure efficient patient management.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience working in orthopedic outpatient settings, demonstrating a solid understanding of patient care protocols.
• Hands-on experience with various therapeutic interventions, allowing for individualized treatment plans.
• Strong interpersonal skills are vital for fostering patient relationships and collaborating effectively with a multidisciplinary team.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers an annual salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 95,000 based on your experience and qualifications. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
