Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical abilities and limitations, including those recovering from injuries, surgeries, and chronic conditions.
• Establish and implement comprehensive treatment plans utilizing advanced therapy techniques such as therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities to alleviate pain and enhance mobility.
• Monitor patient progress meticulously, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to meet evolving patient needs and therapeutic goals.
• Guide patients and their families in the use of necessary assistive devices, ensuring they have the training and support needed for effective self-care and mobility.
• Document all treatment sessions and patient interactions accurately to provide clear communication with the healthcare team and maintain compliance with regulatory standards.
• Engage in continuous professional development activities, including workshops, professional networking, and participation in relevant societies to enhance your knowledge and skills.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our Orthopedic Physical Therapist will primarily work with adult and geriatric patients suffering from musculoskeletal disorders, those recovering from orthopedic surgeries, as well as individuals with chronic pain conditions. A focus on empowering patients to regain their independence and improve their functional abilities is at the heart of our practice.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Current, valid state license to practice physical therapy.
• Minimum of two years of relevant physical therapy experience in a clinical setting, preferably in home care.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with proficiency in electronic documentation.
• Demonstrated adaptability and agility to meet patient needs in varying home environments.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working with pediatric populations or in a multi-disciplinary team is advantageous.
