Work Environment

This position is set in a home care environment, where you will work directly with patients in their residences, providing personalized therapy tailored to their unique needs. Our hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. This role offers you the opportunity to foster one-on-one relationships with patients, ensuring that they receive focused attention and support in the comfort of their homes.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed assessments of patients to determine their individualized therapy needs and establish specific goals.
• Design and implement tailored treatment plans incorporating therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities as appropriate.
• Regularly monitor and evaluate patient progress, modifying treatment plans based on ongoing assessments and feedback.
• Educate patients and their families on effective home exercise programs that promote injury prevention and rehabilitation.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians and other healthcare professionals, to ensure integrated patient care and optimal health outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and treatment interventions in accordance with clinic and regulatory standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with orthopedic patients, offering rehabilitation services for a variety of conditions such as post-operative recovery, joint replacements, sports injuries, and chronic pain management. Our clientele ranges from active adults to elderly patients, requiring a nuanced approach tailored to individual needs and preferences. Your role will focus on enabling them to regain mobility and improve functional capabilities.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Active licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida.
• Minimum of three years of clinical experience, preferably in orthopedic and outpatient settings.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with patients and healthcare teams.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver compassionate and professional patient care.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in geriatric and acute care settings is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in specialized therapeutic techniques such as trigger point therapy or sports rehabilitation.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems to maintain comprehensive patient documentation.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary in the range of USD 90,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition, our benefits package includes:
