Work Environment

The work setting is a dynamic Rehabilitation Center located in the heart of North Port, Florida. Working onsite from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 6 PM, you will be part of a collaborative team where open communication and teamwork are encouraged. Our clinic is equipped with the latest rehabilitation technology and therapy equipment, ensuring you have the resources necessary to provide the highest quality of care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess patients' needs and identify their rehabilitation goals.
• Administer individualized treatment protocols, focusing on effective interventions to enhance mobility and reduce pain.
• Manage a patient caseload, typically seeing one patient per hour to ensure dedicated attention.
• Utilize manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and modalities to support each patient's recovery process.
• Develop and adapt comprehensive care plans, integrating various therapeutic methods to suit individual patient needs.
• Educate patients on injury prevention, chronic condition management, and the benefits of physical activity for overall health.
• Support patients through motivation and encouragement, ensuring they stay committed to their treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate documentation of treatment sessions and monitor patient progress to adjust care plans as necessary.
• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with other healthcare providers to deliver holistic patient care.
• Evaluate and measure treatment outcomes, adjusting strategies as needed to ensure long-term patient success.

Patient Population / Client Focus

At Holistic Health PT Clinic, you will work primarily with individuals undergoing rehabilitation for orthopedic conditions, including post-surgical patients, those recovering from injuries, and individuals managing chronic pain. Our clientele often includes patients with private health insurance, and we aim to provide them with compassionate and effective care tailored to their unique circumstances.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy (MPT or DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid license as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida, ensuring compliance with all state regulations.
• No record of board or disciplinary actions on your license, demonstrating a commitment to ethical practice.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques, critical for effective hands-on treatment.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable, with a proven track record of successful patient outcomes.
• Skilled in designing and implementing tailored exercise programs to address specific patient needs.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) software such as WebPT for efficient patient management and documentation.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience, alongside a comprehensive benefits package.
