Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients referred by physicians to develop comprehensive and individualized treatment programs.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, closely monitoring progress to modify treatments as necessary.
• Maintain open lines of communication with patients and their families, explaining treatment plans and expected outcomes.
• Engage in continuous education and training, keeping abreast of the latest physical therapy practices, technologies, and methodologies.
• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to maximize patient outcomes through a holistic approach.
• Document clinical notes and progress reports accurately, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and internal protocols.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and patient satisfaction are met while achieving clinic utilization goals.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily focuses on a diverse patient population ranging from orthopedic to neurological cases. You will have the opportunity to work with pediatric clients, athletes, and individuals recovering from injuries, enabling you to apply your skills in various specialties and contribute to their healing journey. Your goal will be to restore function and enhance the quality of life for each patient through tailored therapy techniques.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Valid State License in Physical Therapy for Florida.
• Minimum of two years of relevant experience in a clinical physical therapy setting.
• Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills essential for patient interaction and team collaboration.
• Proficiency in word processing and basic computer skills is necessary for documentation and operational tasks.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience treating a variety of physical therapy cases is preferred, with emphasis on orthopedic and sports medicine.
• Prior involvement in community programs or initiatives aimed at health and wellness promotion.
