Work Environment

Our facility is designed to foster an optimal therapeutic environment, with dedicated areas for manual therapy, exercise, and rehabilitation. You will be joining a collaborative team comprised of two experienced physical therapists and one physical therapist assistant (PTA), all committed to providing evidence-based interventions tailored to each patient's unique circumstances. This onsite role requires a consistent presence in our facility during normal operating hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and accurately identify patients' needs and objectives through assessment and communication.
• Manage a caseload of one patient per hour, ensuring personalized attention and care.
• Implement treatment interventions aimed at enhancing range of motion, reducing pain, and improving mobility.
• Develop comprehensive, individualized care plans that incorporate a variety of treatment methodologies, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities.
• Design tailored fitness and wellness programs that promote long-term health and functional independence.
• Encourage lifestyle modifications and provide education that discourages dependency on medications.
• Document all aspects of patient care meticulously, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines and standards.
• Continuously monitor and evaluate treatment outcomes, making necessary adjustments to enhance effectiveness.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient management.
• Motivate patients throughout their treatment to achieve optimal functional recovery and independence.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• A valid Florida license to practice as a Physical Therapist must be obtained before starting.
• Clean professional record without any disciplinary actions or breaches against licensing.
• Expertise in manual therapy techniques and a strong ability in crafting effective exercise protocols.
• Proficiency in using WebPT or similar electronic medical record (EMR) software.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in orthopedic outpatient settings is highly valued.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, reflecting our commitment to compensating skilled therapists competitively.
