Ace Orthopedic Rehabilitation Center is currently seeking a dedicated Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our team in Punta Gorda, Florida. Work Environment

The position is located in our well-appointed outpatient office in Punta Gorda, Florida. Our facility spans 5000 square feet, providing ample space for treatment areas equipped with the latest sports medicine technology. You will be working in an onsite setting, interacting closely with patients in a dynamic and collaborative clinical environment. The normal work schedule is from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced professional and personal life.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify each patient's unique objectives, needs, and impairments.
• Manage a caseload efficiently, treating one patient per hour to ensure focused and individualized care.
• Develop and implement effective treatment plans utilizing a variety of therapeutic techniques and modalities to improve pain management, mobility, and functional outcomes.
• Reduce patients' reliance on medications by emphasizing non-surgical interventions, encouraging holistic wellness approaches.
• Utilize advanced manual therapy skills to address specific musculoskeletal challenges faced by patients.
• Create tailored exercise and rehabilitation programs designed to enhance strength, flexibility, and coordination.
• Continuously monitor treatment outcomes, evaluate patient progress, and adjust care plans accordingly to optimize results.
• Document all patient care services comprehensively in accordance with agency protocols.
• Communicate effectively with patients and their families to motivate them towards active participation in their rehabilitation journey.
• Collaborate and consult with other healthcare professionals, maintaining an interdisciplinary approach to patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a member of our team, you will primarily serve patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and general musculoskeletal conditions. Our services cater to a diverse group of individuals, including athletes, post-operative patients, and those seeking to manage chronic pain. We emphasize a proactive approach, focusing not only on recovery but also on educating patients about preventive measures and healthy lifestyle choices.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid Florida Physical Therapist license, with a clean professional record free from disciplinary actions.
• Demonstrated strong expertise in manual therapy techniques and exercise protocol development.
• Proficiency in using WebPT EMR software for patient records management.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of experience working as a Physical Therapist, specifically within orthopedic outpatient settings.
• Proven track record of successful patient outcomes and satisfaction.
• Experience in managing diverse patient cases, ranging from casual injuries to complex rehabilitations.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, complemented by comprehensive benefits.
