This full-time role, based in our outpatient office in Port Charlotte, Florida, offers a competitive salary range of $90,000 to $100,000 annually, along with a comprehensive benefits package. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to assess their physical abilities, mobility limitations, and rehabilitation needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that focus on enhancing strength, flexibility, and functional independence.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities to treat orthopedic conditions effectively.
• Continuously monitor patient progress and modify treatment approaches based on assessment data and patient feedback.
• Work closely with physicians and members of the healthcare team to coordinate comprehensive care and ensure the best possible outcomes for patients.
• Educate patients and their families on home exercise programs and strategies to promote ongoing health and recovery.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient treatments, progress notes, and compliance with state and federal regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with a diverse population of orthopedic patients, including individuals recovering from surgeries, injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Our focus is on tailoring treatment to meet the unique needs of each patient, ensuring that we address not just their physical impairments but also their quality of life and overall well-being.

Qualifications

• Valid Florida State Licensure as a Physical Therapist.
• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required; a Master's or Doctorate is preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills are essential for building rapport with patients and collaborating effectively within a team.
• Commitment to adhering to ethical standards and maintaining the highest level of professional development.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in physical therapy, particularly in an outpatient or orthopedic setting.
• Experience working with diverse populations, especially the geriatric demographic.
• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and communication.
• Background in developing and leading specialized rehabilitation programs is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits
