Work Environment

This role is based onsite in our state-of-the-art outpatient clinic where we focus on non-hospital-based rehabilitation services. The work environment is vibrant and dynamic, fostering collaboration among healthcare professionals while providing patients with a comfortable space for their therapy sessions. Our standard work hours are Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, promoting a balanced work-life schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide tailored physical therapy treatment to patients, based on thorough assessments and in alignment with their specific rehabilitation goals.
• Manage a balanced patient load to ensure each individual receives the attention necessary for optimal recovery.
• Demonstrate clinical expertise in orthopedic outpatient care, drawing from extensive knowledge and previous experience.
• Implement cost-effective treatment plans focused on improving patient mobility and functionality while emphasizing non-surgical alternatives.
• Develop comprehensive care plans that incorporate a variety of manual therapy techniques and exercise regimens.
• Motivate patients during their treatment journey, providing encouragement and support to foster their engagement and adherence to therapy.
• Continuously assess patients' progress and adapt treatment plans to ensure effective outcomes.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to coordinate holistic and effective care approaches.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with industry standards using electronic medical record (EMR) systems.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic serves a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, those experiencing sports-related injuries, and patients with chronic pain conditions. You will have the opportunity to work with a wide range of age groups, allowing you to adapt your techniques and approaches based on specific patient needs and backgrounds.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required for this position.
• Active licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida, with an impeccable record free from sanctions or board proceedings.
• Exceptional capability in various manual therapy modalities, coupled with strong clinical reasoning skills.
• A proven track record of designing and implementing successful patient exercise programs tailored to individual needs.
• Proficiency in using EMR software, particularly Web PT, for accurate and efficient documentation of therapeutic services.
• A solid foundation in current, evidence-based physical therapy techniques and a passion for continuous learning.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2-3 years of prior experience in outpatient physical therapy is preferred.
• Experience in sports rehabilitation and a strong understanding of orthopedic injuries.
• Ability to develop and lead wellness initiatives that promote long-term health sustainability for patients.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
