Work Environment

The position is based at our vibrant outpatient clinic located in the heart of Punta Gorda, Florida. Our facility is designed to provide a supportive and engaging atmosphere for both our patients and staff. Your standard working hours will be from 9 AM to 5 PM, Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver personalized therapy interventions tailored to the unique goals and needs of each patient, ensuring that they receive the best possible care.
• Manage a reasonable patient load that allows for in-depth assessments and treatment sessions, dedicating sufficient time to address individual patient concerns.
• Utilize your expertise in orthopedic outpatient care to develop and implement effective treatment plans using evidence-based practices.
• Explore cost-effective treatment options aimed at improving patients' motion and mobility while minimizing reliance on surgical interventions and medications.
• Encourage and motivate patients throughout their rehabilitation journey to enhance their commitment and engagement in their care.
• Collaborate with a team of multidisciplinary healthcare professionals, including occupational therapists and physicians, to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Continuously evaluate patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly, ensuring optimal recovery outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and progress in compliance with established healthcare regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on outpatient clients who are seeking relief from various musculoskeletal injuries, post-surgical recovery, or chronic pain conditions. Qualifications

• A completed Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• An active Physical Therapist license within the state of Florida, with no history of sanctions or disciplinary action.
• Demonstrated proficiency in multiple manual therapy techniques and effective exercise program development.
• Familiarity with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT, for precise documentation and patient tracking.
• A solid understanding of current evidence-based practices in physical therapy.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working in an outpatient physical therapy setting, particularly in orthopedic rehabilitation.

Compensation and Benefits
