Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients with orthopedic conditions to develop tailored treatment plans that align with their recovery goals.
• Implement a variety of therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities to alleviate pain and improve mobility.
• Continuously monitor and document patient progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on their responses and evolving needs.
• Educate patients and their families on the importance of adherence to therapy regimens, as well as instructing them on exercises and assistive devices to promote independence.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care, attending multidisciplinary meetings as necessary to discuss patient progress.
• Maintain up-to-date professional knowledge by engaging in continuing education courses, reviewing relevant literature, and participating in professional organizations.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program is essential.
• Current state licensure to practice physical therapy in Florida.
