Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients, including a detailed review of their medical history and specific assessments to create individualized treatment plans.
• Effectively communicate evaluation findings and treatment objectives to patients and their families, integrating their feedback into the goal-setting process.
• Demonstrate proficiency in implementing evidence-based treatment protocols, adapting them to meet the evolving healthcare landscape and patient presentations.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and consult with healthcare professionals when necessary, recognizing changes in patient conditions that may require adjustments to treatment plans.
• Manage comprehensive discharge planning and follow-up care, ensuring accurate documentation of patient care activities, including evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
• Maintain effective time management throughout your shifts, meeting productivity expectations and staying punctual for scheduled meetings and appointments.
• Contribute to the achievement of departmental goals by actively participating in clinical initiatives and adhering to governmental and accreditation standards.
• Pursue continuing education to enhance professional skills and mentor students serving as clinical instructors in the clinic.
• Enhance patient access to care through proactive engagement in community outreach and marketing activities.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The outpatient clinic serves a varied patient population, including individuals recovering from surgery, those dealing with chronic pain, and patients aiming to improve their mobility and overall physical function. Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
• Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers through the American Heart Association.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, allowing for effective interactions with patients and team members.
• Strong clinical reasoning and critical thinking abilities to adapt treatment plans according to patient needs.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
