Work Environment

The ideal candidate will work onsite in our modern and well-equipped outpatient clinic located in beautiful Punta Gorda, Florida. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations including patient history review, clinical assessments, and documentation of findings to establish a clear treatment plan tailored to individual patient needs.
• Effectively communicate evaluation results and treatment strategies to patients and their families, incorporating their input in goal-setting processes.
• Develop and implement treatment protocols based on patient evaluations, ongoing assessment of progress, and emerging healthcare trends.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams when necessary to optimize patient care and adapt treatment plans in response to changes in patient conditions.
• Maintain thorough documentation of patient interactions, including initial evaluations, daily notes, progress summaries, and discharge plans, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Demonstrate effective time management skills to meet productivity targets while maintaining high standards in patient care and timely appointments.
• Engage actively in departmental and community marketing initiatives to promote the clinic's services and strengthen our community ties.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and continuing education initiatives to enhance clinical skills and contribute to a culture of learning.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic serves a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from surgery, sports injuries, chronic pain, and neurological conditions. You will utilize personalized and evidence-based strategies to address the unique needs of each patient, establishing a respectful and empathetic rapport to facilitate healing and recovery.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) is mandatory.
• A valid Physical Therapy license in the state of Florida is required.
• Current American Heart Association's BLS for Healthcare Providers CPR certification.

Preferred Experience

• While a minimum of two years of relevant experience is desired, new graduates with strong clinical rotations are encouraged to apply.

Compensation and Benefits
