The position is based onsite in our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Center located in the heart of Punta Gorda, a charming city known for its beautiful parks and welcoming community. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to determine individual treatment plans and appropriate treatment protocols based on clinical assessment and patient concerns.
• Implement and adjust patient care plans as necessary, demonstrating proficiency in treatment techniques and adapting to the evolving healthcare environment to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities, including initial evaluations, daily progress notes, interim summaries, and discharge planning documentation, to communicate effectively throughout the patient's care journey.
• Engage in collaborative discussions with other healthcare professionals to modify treatment plans when required, ensuring that all patient needs are met comprehensively.
• Educate patients and their families about their conditions, treatment options, and home exercise programs, fostering transparency and understanding to empower patients in their recovery.
• Participate actively in team meetings and contribute to facility initiatives aimed at improving patient care and operational efficiency.
• Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and adhere to all corporate, clinical, and regulatory training requirements.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily serve patients with orthopedic conditions, including post-operative rehabilitation, sports injuries, and chronic pain management. Your role will involve direct patient interaction, allowing you to assess and treat a wide range of conditions while collaborating closely with patients to tailor their rehabilitation experience.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• A valid state license to practice physical therapy in Florida is mandatory.
• Current certification in BLS for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association is essential.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting, demonstrating strong clinical skills.
• Proven ability to develop and implement effective treatment plans and adapt them to meet patient needs.
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 – 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
