Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of patients' physical conditions, which include reviewing medical histories and performing specific physical tests to establish effective treatment protocols.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans based on evaluation results, ensuring that interventions are evidence-based and reflect the latest practices in orthopedic care.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques such as manual therapy, exercises, and modalities tailored to the needs of your patients, while adapting to ongoing changes in their health status.
• Document all patient interactions accurately and timely, including initial evaluations, treatment progress, and discharge summaries. This documentation is critical for communicating with other healthcare providers and justifying the medical necessity of services provided.
• Coordinate with other members of the healthcare team, including physicians, nurses, and rehabilitation staff, to ensure a collaborative approach to patient care, recognizing and acting on changes in patients' conditions promptly.
• Educate patients and their families about the physical therapy process, including exercises to be performed at home, expectations for recovery, and preventive measures to promote long-term health.
• Participate actively in clinic meetings and training sessions to maintain compliance with state and federal regulations, and to enhance personal and team capabilities.

Patient Population / Client Focus

At OnTrack, we primarily serve orthopedic patients requiring rehabilitation following surgeries, injuries, or chronic conditions. You will work with diverse populations, including post-operative patients, athletes recovering from injuries, and elderly clients facing mobility challenges. Your expertise will directly impact their rehabilitation outcomes, enhancing their quality of life and returning them to their daily activities with confidence.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid Physical Therapy license in the state of Florida, as well as certification from the American Heart Association's BLS for Healthcare Providers.
• Excellent communication skills and a commitment to providing compassionate care to patients and their families.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of two years of experience in a physical therapy setting, with a strong preference for those with experience in home care or outpatient orthopedic environments.
• Demonstrated proficiency in developing and implementing biomechanically sound treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
• Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems and familiarization with documentation best practices in compliance with HIPAA regulations.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this role ranges from USD 100,000 to USD 120,000, commensurate with experience. In addition, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
