Key Responsibilities

In your capacity as a Physical Therapist, you will:

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients referred by physicians, utilizing a blend of clinical assessment and patient history to inform treatment planning.
• Design and implement customized treatment programs targeting various specialties, such as orthopedics, pediatrics, neurology, and sports medicine.
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic care, focusing on effective techniques and modalities to promote healing and function as outlined in the physician's plan of care.
• Educate and train patients and their families on rehabilitation protocols, empowering them to take an active role in their recovery.
• Maintain excellent communication with patients to monitor progress, adapt treatment strategies, and foster an environment of trust and support.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to contribute to comprehensive patient care and optimize treatment outcomes.
• Achieve minimum utilization goals and align with organizational objectives to enhance service delivery and efficacy.

Qualifications

To qualify for this role, candidates must possess:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy, with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred.
• A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
• Graduation from a program accredited by the APTA or CAPTE.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in word processing and computer skills relevant for documentation and reporting.
• A commitment to building strong patient relationships and enhancing the overall quality of life for clients.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years of professional experience is required, candidates with advanced certifications or specialized training in orthopedics, pediatrics, or neurologic rehabilitation will be highly regarded. Compensation and Benefits
