Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments to evaluate each patient's mobility limitations, strength levels, and functional needs.
• Develop structured and personalized rehabilitation plans tailored to the individual goals and circumstances of each patient.
• Guide patients through evidence-based exercises, ensuring they understand proper techniques for effective recovery.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians and occupational therapists, to coordinate care and achieve optimal clinical outcomes.
• Provide education to patients and their families regarding effective strategies for at-home rehabilitation and progress monitoring.
• Document treatment plans and patient progress meticulously in compliance with state regulations and organizational protocols.
• Stay updated on the latest best practices in physical therapy and participate in ongoing training and development opportunities.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be serving a diverse patient population, including elderly clients, individuals recovering from surgery, sports-related injuries, and patients with chronic conditions. The nature of our home care setting allows you to form meaningful relationships with patients as you support them on their recovery journeys in the comfort of their homes.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required; a Master's Degree is preferred for advancement.
• An active Florida Physical Therapy license or eligibility to obtain one.
• Demonstrated effective communication skills to clearly convey treatment plans and motivate patients.
• Strong clinical reasoning and decision-making abilities to adapt therapy as needed to achieve optimal outcomes.

Preferred Experience

• At least 2 years of experience in physical therapy, preferably in an outpatient or home care setting.
• Experience working with diverse patient populations, including the elderly and those with mobility impairments.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems for patient documentation.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 85,000 to 100,000 , depending on experience. In addition to salary, we provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
