Work Environment

Located in picturesque Port Charlotte, our outpatient rehabilitation facility is designed for optimal patient comfort and recovery. The clinic operates from Monday to Friday, with flexible scheduling options that include traditional hours or four 10-hour shifts, allowing for a work-life balance that fits your lifestyle.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations for each patient, utilizing standardized assessment tools to identify movement impairments and develop individualized treatment strategies.
• Implement and monitor personalized therapy plans, adjusting them based on patient progress and feedback.
• Collaborate closely with a multi-disciplinary team including physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists to ensure cohesive and comprehensive patient care.
• Educate patients and their caregivers on therapeutic exercises, injury prevention techniques, and home exercise programs, enhancing their ability to manage their recovery independently.
• Utilize electronic health records (EHR) systems to maintain detailed patient documentation, tracking treatment effectiveness and outcomes.
• Actively participate in case discussions and clinical meetings to share insights and enhance the quality of therapy services offered.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required.
