Position Overview Life Point Physical Therapy Clinic is seeking a dedicated and skilled Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our team in Port Charlotte, Florida. The ideal candidate will work onsite at our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Center, providing comprehensive care to patients with a variety of orthopedic conditions.

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, your key responsibilities will include:

Evaluating and assessing patients referred by physicians, developing tailored treatment plans that address individual needs and goals.

Implementing innovative and evidence-based therapeutic interventions for various orthopedic patients, monitoring progress, and modifying treatments to reflect changes in conditions.

Documenting patient progress accurately in our electronic medical records system, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.

Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, including occupational therapists, physicians, and nursing staff to maximize patient recovery.

Participating in team meetings to discuss case management and contribute insights into developing best practices.

Continually striving to meet minimum utilization goals and other organizational metrics to contribute to the overall success of our clinic.

Your practice will focus primarily on orthopedic patients, who may require rehabilitation following surgeries, injuries, or chronic pain management. The clinic also services pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine populations, allowing for a diverse patient experience. Your role in delivering positive outcomes will not only enhance individual recovery journeys but will also build community trust in our services.

A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited physical therapy program (a Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred).

A valid State License to practice physical therapy.

Strong computer skills, including proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems for patient documentation.

While we welcome recent graduates, candidates with previous experience in orthopedic therapy, particularly in a clinical setting, will be highly regarded. A demonstrated ability to build relationships within the community and a track record of achieving positive patient outcomes will also be beneficial.
