Work Environment

This position requires working onsite at our rehabilitation facility located in Herndon, Virginia, a thriving community known for its access to healthcare resources. You will collaborate with a small, dedicated team consisting of two experienced Physical Therapists and a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), ensuring a supportive and collegial atmosphere. Our practice caters primarily to patients with private insurance, reinforcing our intent to offer quality healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed assessments of patients to identify their rehabilitation needs, using evidence-based practices to determine appropriate treatment plans.
• Manage a typical caseload of one patient per hour, allowing for focused, quality interactions and personalized treatment.
• Utilize a variety of treatment techniques, such as manual therapies and exercise protocols, to improve patients' range of motion and mobility.
• Develop customized fitness and wellness programs to address individual goals, promoting overall health and injury prevention.
• Monitor patient progress and adapt treatment plans as needed, utilizing feedback and assessment tools to evaluate the effectiveness of interventions.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to patient care, fostering an environment of team communication.
• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of patient care and treatment outcomes using WebPT EMR software.
• Encourage patients to adopt healthier lifestyles by focusing on their physical capabilities, strengths, and progress throughout their rehabilitation journey.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The patients you will treat range from individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries to athletes seeking to enhance performance or prevent injuries. Our diverse clientele includes adults of all ages, each requiring tailored treatments and compassionate support to achieve their personal rehabilitation outcomes.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid Physical Therapist license issued by the Virginia Board of Physical Therapy.
• Unblemished professional record, free of disciplinary actions.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques, with a solid understanding of exercise physiology.
• Expertise in developing and applying effective exercise protocols.
• Familiarity with WebPT EMR software for managing patient records and documentation.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting preferred, demonstrating success in treating various musculoskeletal conditions.
• Knowledge of advanced therapeutic modalities, including electrical stimulation and ultrasound treatments.

Compensation and Benefits

Willow Bridge Physical Therapy Services offers a competitive salary range between USD 90,000 and USD 110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
