Work Environment

This role is primarily onsite and entails providing therapy in patients' homes, allowing for personalized treatment in a comfortable and familiar setting. You will work alongside a small team of two other experienced physical therapists, where teamwork and communication are paramount. Our facility boasts a comprehensive range of tools and equipment that aid in delivering evidence-based treatments, ensuring we meet each patient's unique needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct individualized evaluations to identify patients' needs and establish tailored treatment plans that foster recovery and promote healthy lifestyles.
• Administer physical therapy treatments focusing on pain management, mobility restoration, and functional improvement, ensuring sessions are conducted one-on-one with a maximum patient load of every 40 minutes.
• Engage patients with exercises and techniques that aim to enhance their strength, flexibility, coordination, and balance, ultimately aiming for optimal health outcomes.
• Monitor and document patient progress diligently, adjusting care plans as needed based on real-time evaluations and outcomes.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care and optimize treatment effectiveness.
• Educate patients about their conditions and promote strategies to prevent injury and improve physical health.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with patients seeking orthopedic rehabilitation, including athletes recovering from injuries and individuals requiring assistance with mobility challenges. Most patients are covered by commercial insurance or are private pay clients. By focusing on personalized and context-specific care, you will significantly contribute to helping patients regain their independence and improve quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or higher (Master's or DPT).
• Active and valid license to practice Physical Therapy in the State of Virginia.
• A minimum of two years of professional experience as a Physical Therapist, specifically in an outpatient setting.
• Comprehensive understanding of current physical therapy modalities, treatment practices, and patient management techniques.
• Ability to engage effectively with patients of diverse backgrounds and personalities.

Preferred Experience

• Demonstrated proficiency in developing and executing care plans tailored to individual patient goals.
• Experience in sports rehabilitation or working with athletic populations is advantageous.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a proactive approach to professional development and continued education in the field.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges between $80,000 and $95,000 per year, depending on experience and credentials. Along with competitive compensation, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
