Work Environment

This position requires home visits for therapy sessions, creating a dynamic and personalized work setting. You will travel to various client locations in Alexandria, VA, utilizing your clinical skills in a familiar yet intimate environment. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients, including the analysis of history and performance of specific functional assessments, to develop individualized treatment plans.
• Effectively explain evaluation results and treatment strategies to patients and their families while actively involving them in goal-setting for optimal recovery.
• Implement evidence-based treatment protocols tailored to each patient's unique presentation and health background, showing adaptability in response to their progress.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams as necessary, recognizing signs that may necessitate modifications to care plans or referrals for additional medical consultations.
• Ensure meticulous documentation of all patient interactions—including initial evaluations, ongoing progress notes, and discharge summaries—to meet both patient care and compliance regulations.
• Manage your schedule efficiently to maximize productivity, demonstrating punctuality for meetings and therapy sessions.
• Assist with discharge planning, providing patients with follow-up care strategies and resources to facilitate long-term health and wellness.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. Qualifications

Compensation and Benefits
