Work Environment

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist at Ortho Prime, you will work in a dynamic outpatient office setting that fosters collaboration and camaraderie. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at mitigating pain, enhancing muscle function, and promoting rehabilitation.
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients by employing diagnostic and prognostic tests to assess muscular, nerve, and joint functions.
• Manage the workflows of Physical Therapy Assistants, ensuring adherence to prescribed treatment protocols.
• Administer therapeutic exercises, traction, and other physical modalities, adapting sessions based on patient response and progress.
• Evaluates home environments to provide recommendations that empower patients in regaining independence through tailored modifications.
• Document all assessments, treatment protocols (OASIS), progress notes, and discharge summaries accurately to maintain comprehensive clinical records.
• Participate actively in patient care conferences with a multidisciplinary team, sharing insights and discussing patient progress.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding therapeutic devices, home exercise regimens, and overall physical health management.
• Ensure timely submission of documentation related to clinical services and administrative processes in alignment with company policies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The Orthopedic Physical Therapist will primarily work with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, joint replacements, or chronic pain conditions. This patient population requires thoughtful assessment and tailored therapeutic interventions to facilitate a successful return to everyday activities. Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited physical therapy program with a strong academic record.
• A current Physical Therapist (PT) license in good standing for the state of Virginia.

• A valid driver's license and proof of automobile insurance are required for home visits or community outreach.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of one year of hands-on experience as a Physical Therapist, ideally in an outpatient or home health setting.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive yearly salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
