Work Environment

This full-time position requires you to engage directly with patients in their homes, providing you with a dynamic and engaging work setting. You will be part of a small, collaborative team consisting of two other physical therapists and a physical therapist assistant (PTA), ensuring that you have the support and resources needed to thrive. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify and set realistic goals based on patients' needs and functional abilities.
• Manage a patient caseload effectively, ensuring each patient receives individualized attention—approximately one patient per hour.
• Utilize a range of therapeutic techniques to aid in restoring mobility, strength, and balance to patients undergoing orthopedic recovery.
• Create detailed care plans that incorporate the latest methodologies in physical therapy, emphasizing cost-effective and drug-free interventions.
• Design and implement exercise-based wellness programs tailored to individual patient abilities and recovery goals.
• Monitor and document treatment outcomes meticulously, assessing progress and adjusting care plans based on ongoing evaluations.
• Foster a supportive therapeutic relationship that motivates patients throughout their recovery journey.
• Encourage lifestyle adjustments that promote long-term health, focusing on strength, flexibility, balance, and overall physical fitness.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care and maximize patient outcomes.
• Maintain clear and accurate records of patient interactions and therapy provided, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work primarily with patients suffering from various orthopedic conditions, including post-operative rehabilitation, sports injuries, and degenerative joint diseases. Our patient demographics range from active adults to seniors, all seeking to improve their wellness through effective rehabilitation strategies. Each session is driven by the patient's goals, ensuring tailored care that meets their unique circumstances.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required, with preference given to candidates holding a Master's or Doctorate degree (DPT).
• Possession of a valid and untarnished state license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and a strong foundation in rehabilitation principles.
• Experience in orthopedic outpatient settings is essential to understand the specific challenges faced by our patient population.
• High competency in developing exercise protocols that align with patients' personalized care plans.
• Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software, particularly WebPT, to enhance patient data management.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working in home care or community settings where personalized patient engagement is critical.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a small team while also being accountable for individual patient outcomes.
• Strong communication skills, with the capacity to educate patients and caregivers about treatment processes and home exercises.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a highly competitive compensation package ranging from USD 100,000 to 125,000 per year, contingent on experience and qualifications.
