Work Environment

Located in the heart of Manassas, Virginia, our rehabilitation center offers a welcoming and supportive atmosphere. The facility is well-equipped to handle a variety of sports medicine and orthopedic cases, emphasizing non-hospital-based rehabilitation. As a member of our onsite team, you will enjoy a structured work schedule from 9 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday, allowing for a balanced professional and personal life.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized physical therapy services to patients, ensuring each treatment plan addresses their unique goals and needs.
• Manage a balanced patient caseload, allotting sufficient time and attention to each patient for optimal therapeutic engagement.
• Employ evidence-based orthopedic practices to enhance patients' mobility and reduce pain, focusing on non-surgical alternatives whenever possible.
• Design comprehensive treatment care plans that incorporate various therapeutic techniques, tailored to each patient's specific situation.
• Utilize tools and techniques to motivate, support, and encourage patients throughout their rehabilitation journey.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, athletic trainers, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
• Continuously assess treatment outcomes and make necessary adjustments to enhance patient progress.
• Document patient interactions and treatment results meticulously, using EMR systems like Web PT to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Educate patients on exercise protocols, strategies for managing their condition, and promoting overall physical wellness.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily serves a diverse range of patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, including sports-related traumas, post-surgical rehabilitation, and chronic pain disorders. Your expertise will be instrumental in enabling these patients to achieve their rehabilitation goals, restore their function, and improve their overall quality of life, thereby fostering a lifestyle of wellness and physical activity.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• An active and unencumbered Physical Therapist license in Virginia.
• Proven excellence in orthopedic physical therapy with a solid understanding of manual therapy modalities.
• Adept at designing effective exercise programs and therapeutic strategies.
• Proficiency in utilizing electronic medical records (EMR) systems, particularly Web PT, for accurate documentation.
• Up-to-date knowledge of physical therapy techniques supported by current research and evidence-based practice.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience working in an outpatient orthopedic clinic or similar clinical settings.
• Experience in sports medicine rehabilitation is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with patients and healthcare professionals.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
