Work Environment

This full-time position is located onsite as part of our home care service, which allows you to provide personalized therapy directly in the homes of our clients. Key Responsibilities

Your daily tasks will include:

• Conducting comprehensive evaluations to assess each patient's unique rehabilitation needs and goals.
• Designing and implementing customized physical therapy treatment plans incorporating effective therapeutic techniques and evidence-based practices.
• Utilizing your advanced manual therapy skills to address soft tissue dysfunction and biomechanical issues.
• Educating patients and their families about the rehabilitation process and strategies for continued recovery at home.
• Monitoring progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your expertise will focus primarily on patients with orthopedic conditions, including post-operative recovery, sports injuries, chronic pain, and musculoskeletal disorders. You will be instrumental in guiding clients from initial assessment through their complete rehabilitation journey, allowing them to regain their strength and confidence.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

• A bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure in Virginia as a Physical Therapist (PT).
• A minimum of two years of experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting.
• Exceptional manual therapy skills and proficiency in soft tissue mobilization techniques.
• Strong assessment and critical thinking abilities in a direct access environment.
