Work Environment

This role is situated in our onsite rehabilitation center located in the vibrant community of Herndon, Virginia. Our clinic offers a supportive and dynamic work environment where you will work alongside a team of skilled professionals in outpatient rehabilitation. You will benefit from a structured work schedule from 9 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday, allowing for a balanced professional and personal life.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide individualized patient assessment and develop customized treatment plans tailored to meet their specific needs and goals.
• Manage a realistic patient load, ensuring each person receives dedicated time, allowing for thorough assessment, treatment, and follow-up.
• Demonstrate specialized expertise in orthopedic outpatient care, utilizing evidence-based practices to enhance patient outcomes.
• Implement cost-effective treatment strategies focusing on improving physiological function while minimizing reliance on invasive procedures.
• Encourage non-surgical treatment options, advocating for lifestyle modifications to enhance health and mobility.
• Craft comprehensive care plans that integrate a variety of therapeutic techniques, optimizing patient recovery.
• Conduct fitness evaluations and adjust wellness programs to cater to the evolving requirements of patients.
• Employ evidence-based interventions throughout the treatment process to ensure effectiveness and promote sustainable recovery.
• Motivate patients throughout their therapeutic journey, providing emotional and psychological support.
• Promote healthy living through physical activity, enhancing patient strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Foster seamless cooperation with other healthcare providers involved in the patient's care to address multifaceted health concerns.
• Continuously monitor and document patient progress, using electronic medical records (EMR) software effectively to maintain accurate patient files.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.
• Current and valid Physical Therapist license in the state of Virginia.
• Impeccable licensing history, free of sanctions or board proceedings.
• Demonstrated mastery of various manual therapy techniques and modalities.
• Strong ability to create and deliver effective exercise rehabilitation programs.
• Proficient in using EMR software, particularly Web PT, for precise patient documentation.
• Knowledgeable about current physical therapy techniques and methodologies supported by clinical research.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in outpatient orthopedic therapy settings is preferred.
• Familiarity with sports medicine and rehabilitation programs is an advantage.
• Experience in developing and implementing holistic wellness programs is favorable.

Compensation and Benefits
