Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients recovering from a variety of orthopedic conditions, including post-surgery rehabilitation and injury recovery in our outpatient setting.
• Establish comprehensive treatment plans that incorporate diverse therapeutic methods such as exercise, manual therapy, stretching techniques, and specialized equipment.
• Monitor patient progress meticulously by documenting treatments and responses, ensuring the best outcomes by adjusting treatment plans when necessary.
• Provide training for patients and their families on therapeutic exercises, self-care techniques, and the effective use of assistive devices, enhancing patient engagement and support.
• Participate in continuous professional development through workshops, professional societies, and collaboration with fellow therapists to stay updated on the latest practices in physical therapy.
• Leverage technology and electronic health records (EHR) systems to maintain accurate patient documentation and streamline workflow.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population includes children and adults with diverse orthopedic needs, ensuring a varied and enriching work experience. You will provide care for individuals recovering from sports injuries, surgeries, and managing chronic pain, all while focusing on restoring their functional abilities and enhancing their quality of life.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
• A valid state license in Physical Therapy, meeting all regulatory requirements.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a physical therapy setting, particularly in orthopedic care, is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
• Proficiency in computer programs and EHRs to ensure accurate documentation and patient data management.
• Adaptability and flexibility to meet the dynamic needs of patients and the outpatient environment.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in outpatient therapy settings, specifically dealing with orthopedic cases.
• Demonstrated ability to plan and implement effective rehabilitation strategies.
• Prior mentorship experience for new graduates is a plus, aiding in fostering a collaborative culture.

Compensation and Benefits
