Corewell Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated and passionate Orthopedic Outpatient Physical Therapist to join our rehabilitation team in Dulles, Virginia. Work Environment

Located in Dulles, Virginia, our rehabilitation center provides a collaborative and supportive atmosphere. You will join a dynamic team of two physical therapists and one physical therapist assistant (PTA), all working in synergy to provide high-quality patient care. The facility is equipped with advanced rehabilitation technologies and resources that enhance treatment efficacy. In addition to physical therapy, we prioritize ongoing professional education to keep our staff at the forefront of the industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and identify patients' physical therapy needs by evaluating their goals and health requirements, particularly in orthopedic conditions.
• Manage a patient caseload of one client per hour, ensuring personalized and focused attention during each session.
• Implement cost-effective treatment plans designed to enhance range of motion and mobility while reducing reliance on pharmaceuticals and avoiding surgical interventions.
• Develop and execute comprehensive care plans that include a variety of evidence-based treatment techniques tailored to individual patient needs.
• Design and apply customized fitness and wellness programs aimed at empowering patients in their recovery journey.
• Motivate and guide patients throughout their treatment, encouraging adherence to rehabilitation protocols and promoting a healthy lifestyle.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, including physicians and specialists, to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care.
• Evaluate treatment outcomes and document all patient interactions and progress, maintaining clear and concise records for future reference.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In our orthopedic outpatient setting, you will primarily work with patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, and musculoskeletal disorders. Your expertise will cater to a diverse population, including athletes seeking to regain peak performance and individuals working to restore daily functional abilities. Educating patients on injury prevention and maintaining physical wellness will be a fundamental aspect of your role.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program recognized by the American Medical Association and the American Physical Therapy Association.
• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist in Virginia.
• Demonstrated clinical expertise with at least one year of experience in outpatient orthopedic settings.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, preference will be given to candidates with additional certifications in specialized therapeutic techniques such as Manual Therapy or Sports Rehabilitation. Experience in programming or leading physical wellness workshops will also be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits
