Physical Therapist - Therapy - Full-Time

Position Overview Muscle Mastery Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist (PT) to join our team in Herndon, Virginia. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing therapeutic interventions aimed at enhancing patient mobility, alleviating pain, and improving overall physical function for a diverse client base in an onsite rehabilitation center setting. The Physical Therapist will work onsite at our modern rehabilitation center in Herndon, Virginia. Our facility is equipped with state-of-the-art rehabilitation equipment and technology, allowing you to provide optimal care and rehabilitation to your clients. Your work schedule will be Monday through Friday, promoting a balanced lifestyle and a consistent routine for both you and your patients.

As a Physical Therapist at Muscle Mastery Physical Therapy, your responsibilities will include:

Directing therapy sessions that involve manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and advanced modalities to relieve pain and restore function.

Supervising and mentoring Physical Therapy Assistants to ensure the effective delivery of therapeutic interventions and adherence to prescribed care plans.

Conducting evaluations and assessments to determine the clients' levels of function, assessing their home environments, and recommending adaptations that will foster greater independence.

Documenting and maintaining comprehensive clinical records, including initial evaluations, progress reports, and discharge summaries, in accordance with regulatory requirements.

Participating in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient progress, collaborate on care strategies, and ensure continuity of care.

Providing education to clients and their families regarding rehabilitation techniques, the use of assistive devices, and home exercise programs.

Monitoring and reporting any changes in the patients' conditions and suggesting modifications to treatment plans accordingly.

Engaging in clinical audits and performance reviews as part of our commitment to continuous improvement and quality assurance.

Executing additional tasks and duties as assigned to meet the overall objectives of the rehabilitation team and organization.

You will work with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from surgery, those with chronic musculoskeletal conditions, sports injuries, and elderly patients needing rehabilitation support. Your role is crucial in not only facilitating their recovery but also enabling them to regain independence and improve their quality of life through targeted physical therapy interventions tailored to their unique needs.

To excel in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications:

A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.

Active and current PT licensure in the state of Virginia.

A minimum of one (1) year of experience as a Physical Therapist, ideally in an acute care or home care setting.

A valid driver's license with automobile insurance for travel when needed.

An eagerness to learn and commitment to clinical excellence and high-quality patient care.

While one year of experience is required, we prefer candidates who have additional experience in specialized areas of physical therapy or a strong background in outpatient rehabilitation and sports recovery interventions. Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems and multidisciplinary care approaches will also be an advantage.
