Engineering Manager

Overview We are currently recruiting for an Engineering Manager to join a high volume fastener manufacturer, supplying to the Automotive sector. Responsibilities The purpose of this position is to be a technical lead and engineering liaison for all fastener related projects. Daily responsibilities include but are not limited to: Supporting fastener related resourcing activities to ensure timely engineering input & execution of required validation. Manufacturing and supplier support for production critical issues such as 8Ds or part shortages. Collaborating with Product Validation to support and recommend fasteners for joint design. Serve as Supervisor over the Engineering Department such as coach, mentor, responsible for performance assessments etc. Driving execution of fastener related cost reduction and complexity reduction projects. Partnering with Product Validation to determine appropriate test activities and acceptance criteria to validate fastener design and performance.
