What You ll Do

• Respond as a clinician in adult ICU patient care, including bread and butter ICU procedures
• Collaborate with Attending physicians during morning and afternoon rounds
• Manage an average of 7 patients per day in a teaching hospital setting
• Respond to critical patient needs with a focus on adult medical-surgical care
• Document findings and interventions accurately in Epic EMR
• Ensure patient safety and provide high-quality clinical response in fast-paced environment
• Participate in multidisciplinary team efforts for optimal patient outcomes

What You Need
Required:

• Board certification in Acute Care with ICU experience
• Active MA license (or eligible PAs with 3-5 week licensing process)
• ACLS, BLS certifications
• DEA registration
• Minimum of 2 years of critical care ICU experience

Preferred:

• Experience with adult ICU procedures
• Team-focused communication skills

About the Assignment
This assignment is at a reputable teaching hospital providing specialized ICU care for adult patients. The facility features a 10-bed ICU with a typical patient census of 7, focusing on general ICU patient management. Your role will be responding clinician, mainly for bread and butter critical care, without requiring procedures like intubations or neuro interventions.
