We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Plumbing Supervisor to lead our plumbing team in delivering high-quality construction, maintenance, and repair services across residential projects. In this vital role, you will oversee daily operations on construction sites, ensure compliance with building codes, and manage plumbing teams to achieve project goals efficiently. Your expertise will drive safety, quality, and productivity while fostering a collaborative work environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence the success of diverse plumbing projects through strong leadership and technical proficiency.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate plumbing installation, and repair activities on construction sites, ensuring adherence to project timelines and safety standards
- Manage plumbing teams by assigning tasks, monitoring progress, providing guidance, confirming work, and conducting performance evaluations
- Interpret technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and construction plans to accurately execute plumbing installations in line with design specifications
- Ensure all work complies with local building codes, plumbing building codes, and construction regulatory requirements
- Conduct site inspections to verify quality control, safety protocols, code compliance, and create punch lists throughout each phase of the project
- Effectively communicate professionally, both verbal and writing with builders and attend scheduled meetings.
- Requirements
- Proven experience in construction plumbing with a strong background in residential projects
- Skilled in reading blueprints, schematics, technical drawings, and interpreting construction plans accurately
- Familiarity with building code analysis for local building codes and plumbing regulations to always ensure compliance
- Ability to manage plumbing teams effectively while maintaining high safety standards on busy construction sites
- Strong communication skills coupled with excellent customer service orientation for client interactions and team coordination
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
