This role supports medication verification, dosing adjustments, sterile compounding, antimicrobial stewardship, and medication counseling as requested. Minimum Requirements:

• Current Florida Pharmacist License required.
• Sterile compounding experience required.
• Experience with renal dosing, IV-to-PO conversion, vancomycin/aminoglycoside dosing, TPN (Clinimix) dosing, and antimicrobial de-escalation preferred.
• Experience with DoseEdge, Pharmacy Stars, VigiLanz, and Meditech Expanse preferred.
• Ability to work independently and to communicate effectively with medical and nursing staff.
• Ability to oversee pharmacy technicians while performing duties preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous travel pharmacist experience preferred.
• Experience in hospital pharmacy operations preferred.

• Shift hours: 11:30 AM – 8:00 PM.
• Typical pharmacy documentation system: Meditech Expanse.
• Equipment used: DoseEdge, Pharmacy Stars, VigiLanz.
• Closing pharmacist takes call as part of call requirements.

Impacting Patient Care

Join as a pharmacist to support safe medication use in a 90-bed hospital that includes 30 inpatient rehabilitation beds. Provide clinical services including medication verification, dosing management, sterile compounding, and medication counseling. Your role will support interdisciplinary teams and contribute to antimicrobial stewardship and optimized pharmacotherapy for diverse patient populations.
