We are hiring a licensed Pharmacist for a contract position in Gainesville, FL. You will use clinical expertise to ensure safe and accurate distribution of medications across inpatient services, support antimicrobial stewardship, provide medication counseling, and perform medication verification in a 90-bed hospital with a 30-bed inpatient rehab unit. Minimum Qualifications:

• Current Florida Pharmacist License required.
• Sterile compounding experience required.
• Experience with renal dosing, IV to PO conversion, electrolyte management, vancomycin/aminoglycoside dosing, and TPN dosing (Clinimix) preferred.
• Experience with antimicrobial de-escalation, medication counseling, and medication verification preferred.
• Familiarity with DoseEdge, Pharmacy Stars, VigiLanz, and Meditech Expanse preferred.
• Ability to work independently and effectively communicate with medical and nursing staff preferred.
• Ability to oversee pharmacy technicians while performing duties preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• At least 6 months of pharmacist experience preferred.
• Previous travel experience preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 07:00–19:00.
• Pharmacy hours: Monday–Friday 7:00 am–10:00 pm; Saturday–Sunday & holidays 8:00 am–6:30 pm.
• Call requirement: closing pharmacist takes call.
• Documentation system: Meditech Expanse.
