Billing Support Specialist

Billing Specialist – Low Voltage/Sprinkler State Systems, Inc. of Memphis, TN is seeking a Billing Specialist to handle construction and service billing for multiple locations. The role requires accurate invoice processing, payment tracking, account reconciliation and adherence to financial procedures. Key Responsibilities Interact with customers, vendors, and coworkers in a professional manner. Generate and process invoices for clients/customers. Verify billing data for accuracy and completeness. Research and resolve billing discrepancies and disputes. Communicate with customers and internal teams regarding billing issues. Ensure compliance with company policies and billing procedures. Work collaboratively with the Manager, Scheduling Coordinator, and other office staff to ensure a seamless process from scheduling to billing. Assist with special projects as necessary. Operate a standard 8‑hour workday sitting at a desk. Use Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) proficiently. Demonstrate strong organizational and multitasking skills. Schedule and Compensation 8‑hour shift, Monday to Friday. Pay: $20–$25 per hour DOE. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent (required). Minimum 2 years of experience with Microsoft Excel (required). Minimum 2 years of experience with Microsoft Word (required). Minimum 2 years of experience with Microsoft Outlook (required). Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite. Strong computer and data entry skills. Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to present information in one‑on‑one and small group settings. Proficient in adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing with whole numbers. Problem‑solving skills; ability to apply common sense to write instructions. Preferred Education and Experience Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two‑year college or technical school, or a minimum of two years of related experience or training. Physical Demands Regularly requires use of hands and fingers, reaching, talking, and hearing. Frequent sitting; occasional standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling. Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color and peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus.
