Warehouse Department Supervisor - 1st Shift ODC

Position Summary The Warehouse Department Supervisor leads daily warehouse operations, coordinates assignments, and ensures compliance with FHI policies. A valid driver’s license is required. Applicants must live locally to the site. Shift & Schedule Shift starts at 3:00AM and continues until work is completed. Schedule is TBD based on business needs and may include occasional weekends and holidays. Essential Duties Directs and coordinates associates to safely and efficiently perform operations. Utilizes daily huddles to communicate operating procedures and assignments. Coordinates work assignments and ensures timely completion. Assigns inbound warehouse tasks to associates. Communicates with associates, host management, transportation partners, and FHI management to meet performance and safety goals. Reports and reviews policy violations to management. Coaches associates as needed. Provides recommendations for hiring, promotions, and terminations. Recommends and implements performance improvements. Immediately informs management of potential safety threats and works to resolve them. Ensures daily safety inspections are completed; reports deficiencies for corrective action. Maintains cleanliness and a debris‑free work area. Other duties assigned by management. Qualifications Education : While a formal education is not required, relevant experience and skills are valued. Experience : Proven experience managing and leading a team; strong leadership, organization, problem‑solving, and technical skills required. Skills & Knowledge : Good verbal and written communication; basic math; attention to detail; ability to follow directions; respectful interaction with associates and stakeholders; teamwork. Willingness to work the required schedule and ability to communicate in English. Work Environment Safety‑sensitive position requiring constant alertness. Warehouse environment with extreme heat and cold temperatures. Physical Demands Lift, walk, bend, twist, reach, push, and squat throughout the day. Handle cases weighing 25–95pounds and manage 50–200+ pallets daily. Hear and distinguish speech and machinery alarms in moderate to loud environments. Benefits Competitive salary starting at $44,000.
