Job Details Specialty: Maternal - Newborn Discipline: RN Start Date: 08/03/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Qualifications Active RN License Degree from accredited nursing program BLS, ACLS & NRP Certification Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Mother/Baby setting Other requirements to be determined by client facility Responsibilities Responsible for caring for both moms and their newborns after delivery. Play a crucial role in the hours following delivery, monitoring mothers and ensuring proper recovery. Recognize postpartum depression and teach new moms how to address emotions. Teach new parents how to care, bathe, breastfeed and/or bottle-feed the newborn and monitor their health.
