Exciting Opportunity for a Registered Nurse in Cardiac Observation Join a dynamic team dedicated to providing exceptional care in our Cardiac Observation Unit. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to patients before and after their Cath Lab procedures. Key Responsibilities: * Evaluate assigned patients and develop personalized nursing care plans. * Implement and document nursing care effectively. * Assist physicians during examinations and procedures. * Perform various patient tests and administer medications within the RN scope of practice. * Admit patients and prep them for Cath procedures. * Prepare patients for Cardioversions (CV) and Transesophageal Echocardiograms (TEE). * Recover patients following Cath procedures with conscious sedation. * Sedate, circulate, and document bedside procedures such as CV and TEE. * Educate and discharge patients, ensuring comprehensive teaching and documentation. Qualifications: * RN-AZ or compact state license required. * Current ACLS and BLS certifications. * Experience in PACU, ICU, Telemetry, Cath Lab, or Surgery Center is considered on a case-by-case basis. Shift Information: * Varied schedule: 3 x 12-hour shifts (Days: 0600-1830, 0700-1930, 0800-2030). * Rotational call requirements include Saturdays and Sundays (approximately every 4 to 6 weeks).
